French Fried Ravioli
The french ravioli (raviole) is a Provence regional specialty formed of small rounded square, consisting of a thin paste of wheat flour stuffed with fresh cheese, cheese cooked pressed and parsley… the stuffing will be at least 45%…It is an unreal meal!
Traditionally, the ravioli are cooked in chicken stock and are served in a specific bowl to drain. They are tasted very hot, sprinkled with grated cheese or as an accompaniment to meat, sometimes gratin, but for that recipe we gonna fry it !
Ingredients for 4 people :
- A package of ravioli
- 10cl olive oil
First separate the french ravioli of each other, using scissors if they come off badly.
Put olive oil in the pan and heat over medium heat.
Frying takes only 1 minute or so on each face : the ravioli should be both golden and translucent.
Once cooked, you can taste it hot in a soup, or cold as a starter.
