A little History :
We have some evidence that pumpkin-like were grown in Mexico around 7000 and 5500 B.C.
Since then this squash-like fruit has been used in many ways and in many countries.
Description :
Weight : from 9–18 lbs (4–8 kg) to 75 lbs (34 kg).
Season : August to march.

Tips and Tricks :
First of all you have to halve the pumpkin and remove the seeds and pulp. Then you can chose either to steam or to boil it.
- You can also found canned pumpkin if you dont have time for a homemade pumpkin purée.
